Behind the Scenes at OSSO BLU – Why I Founded This Dog Shop

If someone asks me what OSSO BLU actually is, the answer isn't simply "a dog shop".

OSSO BLU is the idea of a place where everything we love about our dogs comes together.

A place for high-quality products. For beautiful design. For well-thought-out materials. For all those little things that make everyday life with our four-legged friends even more wonderful.

Because let's be honest: our dogs are family members. And just as we value quality and aesthetics when it comes to our homes, our clothes, or our favorite products, we want the same for our dogs.

How it all began

The idea for OSSO BLU came about through my own dog, Blu.

When I got him as a puppy, he wore a blue collar. That's how he got his name "Blu" – and later the name of my shop.

"OSSO BLU" translates from Italian as "Blue Bone".

What started as a small idea gradually developed into its own company. Today, I get to select, test, and offer products every day that I would love myself and that Blu also uses.

More than just products

OSSO BLU isn't about selling as many products as possible.

It's important to me to put together a range that I can truly stand behind.

That's why at OSSO BLU, you won't find random mass-produced goods, but carefully selected products from brands that combine quality, functionality, and design.

Every product should earn its place in the daily lives of dogs and humans.

A look behind the camera

Recently, I had the opportunity to give a behind-the-scenes look at OSSO BLU together with the team from WRKSTA.DE.

In several interviews and videos, we talked about the origin story, my motivation, and the vision behind OSSO BLU.

Honestly, speaking in front of the camera was a real challenge for me. Anyone who knows me knows that I often feel more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it.

But precisely such moments also show what entrepreneurship means: trying new things, stepping out of your comfort zone, and holding on to your dreams.

My vision for OSSO BLU

I hope that OSSO BLU will be more than just an online shop for dog people.

A place full of inspiration.

A place for special products.

A place for people who love their dogs as much as I love my Blu.

And perhaps also a small proof that something great can arise from a simple idea.
